the needed apps are available across all major platforms, so thats not a concern..the biggest difference is screen size (for most blackberrys and wm phones and the iphone), keyboard, and carrier
if you can afford the iphone monthly plans, don't mind at&t, and don't mind the absence of a real keyboard, then the iphone is likely the best option..
if youre very big on e-mail correspndance, blackberries tend to be the most reliable, and yet at the same time, the least "fun" (def not an entertainment device, though even thats changing)
windows mobile phones offer a good balance, one that i personally prefer..available through all retailers and in several form factors, this gives me the most freedom..
