If you have taken the old MCAT and plan on taking the new one or you're simply used to the old scoring scale, you might benefit from the following formula:
Composite score*: {[(Total Score /4) - 117] x 3}
Example*: a total score of 512 (new score)---> {[(512/4) - 117] x 3} = 33 (old score)
Needless to say, this formula should ONLY be used for approximation purposes.
