Hi all, I'm sure you're sick of hearing ppl ask for help with their residency ranking!
I know what the important aspects are (i.e. residents are happy, moderate-large volume, faculty likes to teach, happy with the location), but some of the places I've interviewed at seem quite equal ...so the deciding factor between them would be reputation.
*Eventually*, I'd like to go into academic path or have a split situation where I still practice and do research in my subspecialty...eventually.
NY
---
SUNY Buffalo
Montefiore
NSLIJ
SUNY Stony Brook
Winthrop
And also competing with these NY places are four out of state: Rutgers, Loyola, Penn State, and Penn.
Obviously Penn is Ivy League so by reputation it's probably #1. But all the others seem so relatively near in reputation to me.
Any thoughts?
Thanks! I will return the favor.
