Will someone w/ experience please tell help me? Is it true that New York State (SUNY) school accept up to 90% in state residents...I hope so! Thanks

no, it's not true, some (stony brook) accept 100% in-state <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" />
 
At my Upstate interview, they said that after last year they no longer give preference to NYS residents...

Along w/ this...does anyone know of a particular SUNY school that looks more favorably than others on non-science (History) majors like myself?
 
That would be stupid of the Schools not to accept almost all NYers.

They need and want to keep docotors in New York.

If they accepted West Coast Studnets. There would be no doctor in NY.

It is true they accept most New Yorkers.
