anyone?? i interviewed early september and i still haven't heard anything...i thought they said six weeks but their website says jan .... anybody know anything?

Hey, At the interview the director said that applications go to committee in roughly six weeks, and at that point, depending on a numerical score you receive from the committee, you either are accepted or rejected or fall within the middle of the pool, in which case you might not get a yes or no for a while. They do that so they can give later applicants equal consideration and make sure they don't over-enroll the class. I'm not sure what percentage are immediate admits. No news is good news, was how he put it. Kind of sucks that we have to potentially wait a long time. Maybe early winter (Jan/Feb) is when they stop interviewing, and everything becomes more clear?
