NHSCscholarship.com is up and running. It is an unofficial look at some of the policies and experiences for scholars. It is from a FNP's perspective, the doctor's policies and experiences may be significantly different, but the general themes are probably the same. It does not compete against this site. It does link back to this message board for a previous posting under 'Beware, NHSC misleading issues'.
A main concern for FNP's is that the opportunities list only contains positions that are outdated, allready filled, won't be filled, or worse- want someone with experience (aren't all scholars new grads?). So there isn't anywhere to go, and I would go anywhere. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated, I am just working hard for the betterment of the program. The underserved are my main priority.
