Take a look at the NHSC-specific threads where this topic has been discussed at length. The responses range from "It's great!" to the more frequent "You need your head examined if you are seriously considering this as an option".

I was also interested in this scholarship, but there are seemingly too many horror stories. Unfortunately, it seems like some comfort on the front end causes much pain on the back end.
