FM was my first rotation as an M3. I don't think my performance was poor during the rotation, I just feel as if my other rotations were stronger which is why I was apprehensive to ask my FM attending for a letter. My attending was super chill and I think I took the rotation lightly because of it - I didn't really go 'above and beyond' as I should have, to be blunt. That said, I am apprehensive to ask my FM attending for a LOR because I didn't really stand out. I have 3-4 strong letters from other specialties, 2 of them from IM. Would my application be tossed out without a LOR from a FM doc?
No FM LORs and FM residency?
