Hey everyone:

It was so random -- I was just looking on my AMCAS to get my ID and lo and behold my MCAT scores were there! So go to the Print Application function and you can get your MCAT scores!

Sorry to those who aren't applying this year, I don't think you can get them without waiting for them in the mail!

Thanks for the tip!!! Unfortunately, I didn't get to do it for free. I turned on my computer and turned on the MCAT website and SDN at the same time, and I didn't check the SDN posts first...I was busy praying. ^_^ Oh well...$15 more for AAMC, I guess I won't be having that Green Curry Chicken tonight.

yeah it works. I had asked about this about two weeks ago and I checked my AMCAS on Friday for the scores as well. I couldn't wait so I jsut bit the bullet and paid the $15. For those of you taking April 2003 remember this and see if you can hold out for a few days.

Yeah its there. I had checked Fri and Sat, and no updates, and simply out of principle I was not going to send MCAT any more money for what I still believe is extortion on their part. I really don't see how it is justified to charge $15 for something that is already in a database. Hopefully this post helps those of you that didn't pay yet. Thanks for the tip!

I have 2 reactions:

1) F**K aamc! Charge $15 for getting scores 3 days earlier??!!!
Really shameful way to make $$. Wonder if they screwed up?
They're going to get a lot of flack for this!!! I'm going to write
them a nice letter when I get done w/ 2ndaries . . . .

2) This might mean that schools will get our scores earlier
this year??? At least those that will soon receive the AMCAS
update??

you have to log on and go to the print application on the left side of your screen. it is under all the other sections that can't be changed and have x's through them.

Amen, sister.

Seriously, though, aren't they supposed to be non-profit or something? What's the real deal with this?
