No MICU rotation 4th year. How much does this hurt me?

having a dick of a time scheduling a MICU rotation but I did manage to schedule my Sub-I relatively early (mid Aug to mid Sep).

Does this hurt me when applying to high powered programs?

Not at all. Unless your app is focused around wanting to do CCM, nobody will really care.

No one cares what you did or didn't do 4th year other than your subI. Even if you want to do CCM that shouldn't be the focus of your IM personal statement or interview.

I would do it, and I regret not doing one. But, you'll pick it up quickly, regardless.

You might be three days behind once you get to your ICU month(s) as an intern. No big deal.
