You are very behind the times. This news came out last year. Basically, TX schools will now go through the rolling admissions process through Dec, 2006, allowing applicants to hold onto multiple acceptances, like AMCAS. For those that do not have acceptances, they will go through the traditional matching system, with results coming out in Feb,2007 as always.
