Is Masamune4567 a troll? I really am in disbelief that a person with his/her attitude can be a successful doctor. It really makes me sick.

who is Hakashi? I guess i missed out on something from the past 😕sunnyjohn said:Yes, a few of us think he/she is a reincarnation of Hakashi.
yeah the attitudes were very similar, and on the same topic. but hakashi got kicked out for being too outspoken. i guess it makes him tick. well be careful masamune, i see your side but you know how sdn is now.Psycho Doctor said:who is Hakashi? I guess i missed out on something from the past 😕
rumors? you mean this has been a major discussion? I just saw this person's posts a few minutes ago and I found it quite disturbing. i think attitudes like that is disgusting and such people don't belong caring for patients who need compassion, support and understanding.Shredder said:i think i saw rumors that it was hakashi. do a little searching. i dont find it hard to believe--i think the attitude is plenty common, but its not often expressed outwardly and with such fervor. something like being PC.

Megboo said:If you do a search for Masamune's posts and Hakashi's posts, you will find them strikingly similar:
Both are from Canada
Both are 18
Both have a father and an uncle who are surgeons
Both don't care for women in surgery residencies
Both don't think women should be in medicine at all
Both are republican (not that that's bad)
Both think they are superior
Both have a 4.0 GPA
Both think they will get into med school at 20
And the list goes on. That's why I think I will ignore Masamune's posts like Hakashi's.
maybe the adcoms will see this and figure it out! 👍Kazema said:And both are planning to fake compassion in an interview in order to get into medical school.

Common sense ain't so common. 😀Psycho Doctor said:ok good work, I guess obviously with a 4.0, not really so smart to come back here and post the same crap. 👎
Reimat said:Was Hakashi the guy who was so outspoken against women? That was terrible- if Hakashi/Masamune are the same person, I doubt it'll take long for him to get booted again
honestly i think it's a troll post and attitude. i seriously can't believe anyone would really feel that way. perhaps I am too naive and idealistic. 😳Megboo said:Yeah that was him. Personally, I'm over the shock value of his posts. He's a stuck-up 18-year old with a God complex. He's got a lot of time to eat crow. Kids today!

Shredder said:the concept of "trolling" that people use around here is at odds with the 1st amendment. do you know that if every case of speech was considered individually, they would be shot down because most speech incidents arise from minority opinions. thats why the constitution says it should be free. im of the opinion that trolling should be limited only to spamming. "flaming" or saying things that you just dont agree with are not trolling and grounds for exclusion.
Shredder said:ill be honest, i dont mind it at all. its nice to see a different point of view from what i usually see around here. everyone preaches about diversity, but when you actually get it, then what? why does it have to mean color of skin? and hey, if his family has been doing it for generations then you can be pretty damn sure he will be good at it, and i mean that. genetics is important, its why the best athletes arent the hard workers but the ones who come from athletically gifted families and have natural prowess. mentality doesnt matter, look at examples like shawn kemp, somehow he comes to mind instantly.

yes in concur, obviously theres nothing unlawful about it or this place would be shut down. but, there is quite a bit of repression. its not so common outside of pre allo. free expression isnt just a law, the premise is that its supposed to be beneficial which is why it was made into a law. so, it follows that repression in any context is not too healthy. who cares if people insult, just ignore or make more advanced ignore functions. i think the only problem is spamming bc thats disruptive.hardy said:ah... the famous 1st amendment argument. Let me tell you something very basic: The consitution regulates the relationship between individuals and the government but NOT between the individuals. Therefore, you have the right to say whatever you want in front of the Government and they cannot stop you. However, this is a private website run by private citizen. If they want to restrict your speech they are free to do so by banning you from the site. But I agree, the term troll is way overused on this board.
