Hey SDN,
I've been on a bunch of projects (3-4) that haven't gone anywhere.
1. IRB has taken over 6 mo and still isn't approved
2. Summer project got written up by a fellow and he's first author on a national presentation,
3. Other survey studies, etc that require IRB approval that hasn't happened
I'm in the middle of MS2 now and worried about getting publications (like on the scale of a big study) since STEP + 3rd year don't seem conducive to getting a 1st author paper.
What exactly is expected for the 9 or so abstracts/publications/posters? Does anyone have a breakdown of what pubs vs posters are expected for ENT?
