Hello everyone!
I've been reading some of the personal statements of the students who got accepted to medical school and one thing that all of them had in common was that they all had research experience.
Now, i was just wondering, if you have no research experience, does this mean that you would be in a disadvantage??

Not necessarily. If you are dedicated to being a clinician, and you have shown evidence of this through volunteering/health care experience, you'll be OK. Remember, schools can be divided into those who aim to produce academic physicians and researchers (Pritzker, Stanford, Baylor, et al.) and those who wish to produce practicing physicians (George Washington, Texas A&M, et al). Applying to those who aim to produce clinicians, and may not have excellent research facilities may be advantageous for you. Good luck!
