Non AAMC MCAT research

If AAMC has a problem with objectivity, I believe that some other groups could also have a problem with objectivity, even if it's more subtle. For instance, a school that has a particularly low MCAT average (I don't know anything about PCOM and am implying nothing) could be imagined to prefer research that points to a low correlation with any measure of true success, while an institution that is known for it's high MCAT average might hope to find the opposite.

I really don't think you'll be able to find unbiased research on the topic unless it is conducted by someone who never took the MCAT or even though about taking it. Even then, this person could have some slight biases if s/he knows people that have taken the MCAT.
