Hi,

I have ~300 hrs volunteering in hospitals and 4000 hours of research experience. Only ~20 hours of shadowing experience. I applied everywhere that accept international students. Just wondering what my chances are...

Describe your volunteering and shadowing experience in more detail. You also may want to describe any community service. What is your visa status, and have you talked with any of the schools that accept international students before you submitted an application?

I currently hold F-1 student visa. I applied everywhere that accepts international students and looked up how many international students they interview each year. I volunteered at a hospital in China and another one in the US. My responsibilities are mostly talking to patients and show them directions, serving drinks and snacks. I only shadowed two doctors, a cardiologist and a neurosurgeon. I scheduled more shadowing appointment but were canceled due to the pandemic.
