Hi everyone, I am planning on applying for a summer research internship. The deadlines for most are Feb 1st and Feb 15th. Last semester was my first semester in college, and I didnt take any sciences, I took Sociology, Psychology, English and Math. Next semester I will be taking Bio and Anatomy.

So I need two letter of recommendations(LOR), would LOR's be okay from non science teachers for my research internship? or should I try asking my new Bio and Anatomy teachers which start on Monday.

If I ask my new Bio and Anatomy teachers they will have nothing to base my on if I ask for one even in a week.

Please let me know what you members think. Thanks.

Never ask a brand new teacher for a LOR. I even hesitate after taking just one of their classes, unless you've made a clear effort to come to office hours all semester.
