I tried using the search function but was unable to find anything valuable (well, aside from this website http://thalamus.wustl.edu/course/). Is there a review book on neuroscience that can be used as a primary text to save time? Seems to me there isn't anything like, for example, Lippincott's biochem. Our recommended course text book is Neuroscience: exploring the brain by Bear.

You're right...the topic is somewhat misleading. What I'm looking for is a review book. Something high yield.
