    Hi,
Which schools would auctually take a look at a 3.4 student with a 11V 8phys 12 bio (R) from a southern state? I've got pretty good lor's and ec's, but my gpa is on the low end, and I'm trying to apply to as many schools as I can afford that I've got a shot at. Any suggestions would be a great help.
    Thanks!

I'm not sure. I assume that some cater more to students in the immediate area. and of course, some state schools take a large majority of students from in-state.

nymc, tufts, albany, drexel, jefferson, george washington, georgetown, etc...

i highly doubt any of the private schools will discriminate against you b/c you're from the south. it would be a waste of time/money to apply to most of the public schools. there may be a couple that take out of state e.g. vermont, penn state?
