anyone have any insights as to which one would be the better choice? i've heard good stuff about loyola's, and it seems like a pretty large, well organized program...northwestern's is quite a bit smaller, but northwestern does have the better rep overall...

i gotsta make the decision in the next week, so any words of advice would be greatly appreciated...

northwestern has a post-bacc program????

NW has a 1 year accelerated Masters program in Neurobiology & Physiology. it's a REAL masters b/c you have to defend a research thesis at the end of the year.

oh, i knew about that program. that's not a post-bacc program though; i thought the original post implied that NU had some kind of pre-med program for people out of college, like a traditional post-bacc.

yeah, they do have a post bacc program...apparently, it's a fairly recent addition to their offerings...when i met with the advisor, i think she told me they just started offering it about a year or two ago..

Can you post a website where you can find info about both programs?

sure thang...

loyola:

<a href="http://www.luc.edu/schools/mundelein/postbacc.html" target="_blank">http://www.luc.edu/schools/mundelein/postbacc.html</a>

northwestern:

<a href="http://www.scs.northwestern.edu/cert/prehealth.html" target="_blank">http://www.scs.northwestern.edu/cert/prehealth.html</a>

Do you have the websites for the masters programs too?

no, i don't...sorry...but if you go to either of the school's websites, you can probably find a list of the programs offered by the school and stuff like that..
