If I decide not to answer a question on the PCAT, does that mean it is automatically one of the 8 questions that gets omitted from the final score? Please let me know!! Thank you!!
I don't know if that rule changed, but I thought it was 8 completely random questions were not counted, regardless of getting it correct or not. Leaving a question blank is not a very good idea, assuming that you are not penalized for getting a wrong answer; might as well just guess if you have no idea.
Definitely not true..there 8 predetermined "experimental" questions that are dropped because they are brand new questions that could potentially be too hard, easy, poorly worded, ect and the test writers want to see how students fare with them. Only these questions will be dropped, not 8 random questions you don't answer.
