Hi all

I'm thinkin taking good notes is essential to doing well in dental school so I'm wondering do you guys use or are aware of a good system for taking notes by using a laptop. Is there any good software out there that you use?

thanks

Hey Freddyx3,

I havent started school yet, but I have spoken to some students asking them the same question. At Tufts (and probably alot of other schools) there is a transcription service, so you just have to sit and listen. Also, I assume that any diagrams or figures used in class will be posted on the net.

Good luck with applying.

It depends on the school you are attending. Lots of schools have note services, and I think more and more schools are relying quite heavily on internet/intranet services.

A handful of schools are also using the VitalSource DVD, which adds a new dimension to taking notes.
