If any of you live in the Los Angeles area and are looking for volunteer hours I can connect you with the clinics where I completed my volunteer work. One clinic is a private orthopedic clinic in Beverly Hills and the other is a pediatric clinic in Reseda for California Children Services treating children with neurological disorders.
The physical therapists at both clinics are amazing and love what they do. All are very knowledgeable in their work, friendly, and very engaging. For those that are interesting in pediatrics, the Reseda clinic is a great place to be because you get involved in PT evaluations, wheelchair/equipment clinics, splinting (more of an OT thing but a great learning experience) and get to be involved in medical clinics with the orthopaedic surgeon.
