I interviewed at NOVA-NSU on March 11. The admissions office has told me that letters are in the mail, but I haven't received anything yet. Have any of you out there who interviewed the same time or later received your letters yet?

I wasn't interviewing with you--but once the letters "hit the mail" it took awhile for it to actually reach my house (7-10 days)...I assumed it sat waiting to be sorted out of campus mail for awhile, because it only took 2 or 3 days to get to me after it was postmarked.

Give it a few days--I'm sure you'll hear something. :)

I called and asked for my status...and much to my dismay, I am on the waitlist. Been there done that, so I won't hold my breath. Back to the drawing board. Good luck to the rest of you.

Interviewed on 3/14/05, haven't heard anything yet. I was told that all interviews would be completed by the end of March and the admissions committee would have met and made their final decisions by then and that everyone would hear back on later than the first week of April by registered mail.

You called and they gave you your status over the phone? Man, I'd be too scared, I think I'll wait for the letter to arrive. I heard Nova pulled some people off of their waitlist last year, so don't get discouraged. I got waitlisted at another school, so I know how it feels. Good luck dude!

I got waitlisted as well (I interviewed on the 11th). When I called, to check my letters/ see if i made it to committee, Delia offered to share my decision on the phone. That was Thursday March 31. Delia said the letters were being sent out that day. She said letters were being sent out by certified mail, but I got my waitlist letter by regular mail on Saturday (April 9) and the letter was dated March 31, and was postmarked April 5. I get the feeling that they were just interviewing people for the waitlist, we never had a chance. I really likes NSU .... I been really bummed out ever since that phone call to Delia....

I got a call from Delia letting me know that they had a seat for me at NOVA. The funny thing is that I got accepted to TCOM one week earlier. It's a good thing that NOVA called later because I would have been out $2000. I'm going to TCOM. It's closer to home and costs half as much.
