NOVA...what are my chances

Hey guys this only my second posting so please bear with me. Nova is my number one choice but i am concerned with my stats. I have a 28 MCAT, but a 3.25 total GPA (3.0 science). I have worked for a DO and done alot of medical + volunteer experiences for the past 5 years. I just completed my secondary about a week ago and I am really stressed out as to whether I will be granted an interview. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

You sound like a really good candidate. If it helps, i had stats below yours without any of your experience and i had an interview already. One thing though that i heard keeps some people out - i think they're really looking for people who want to serve underrepresented areas.

Good news

I have a 26 MCAT and a 3.3 GPA (3.5 Science) and have an interview at NOVA on Nov. 15th (along with 6 other DO interviews).

Hope that instills some faith. Good luck.
