Miner’s Colfax MedicalCenter, in Raton, is currently seeking a full time clinic physician. They are a33 bed acute care facility consisting of aMedical-Surgical Unit, an Intensive Care Unit, an Obstetrics Unit, OperatingRooms, and 24-hour Emergency Services. Outpatient diagnostics and specialtycare clinics are also available. There are currently three family practicephysicians, two nurse practitioners, one general surgeon, one OB/GYN, threeinternists, one radiologist, one pathologist, one nurse anesthetist, and oneophthalmologist who are credentialed to practice at the hospital. They areseeking a clinic physician Monday through Friday only, standard business hours,with occasional call. The clinic sees on average about 20-25 patients per day.This physician will be employed by the hospital and they are seeking someonewho is Board Certified or Board Eligble Internal Medicine.

The hospital is looking to hire someone right away, although they would consider waiting for the right candidate.The position consistsof competitive compensation similar to other rural facilities, malpracticeinsurance (including tail) and a full benefits package.
