Just wondering about the strength of the affiliated hospitals for NSUCOM during rotations??? Any residency info welcome also...

As I understand, NSUCOM has it's own hospital and is affiliated with two more in the miami area. Gregory would be a better source on that. I do someone who is doing her clerkship from NSUCOM here in Orlando in the Florida Hospital System. That's one of the reasons NSU is my first pick as I would only be away for two years.

I was recently accepted to NSUCOM and have their health professions division catalog. The following are listed as affiliated hospitals:
Broward General Med. Center (Ft. Lauderdale)
Columbia Hospital (West Palm Beach)
Coral Springs Med. Center (Coral Springs)
Florida Hospital East Orlando (Orlando)
Glades General Hospital (Belle Glade)
Gulf Coast Hospital (Ft. Myers)
Imperial Point Med. Center (Ft. Lauderdale)
Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami)
J.F.K. Medical Center (Atlantis)
Memorial Regional Hospital (Hollywood)
Miami Children's Hospital (Miami)
Miami Heart Institute (Miami)
Mount Sinai Medical Center (Miami Beach)
North Broward Med. Center (Pompano Beach)
Palmetto General Hospital (Hialeah)
Palms West Hospital (Loxahatchee)
Peninsula Medical Center (Ormond Beach)
Sacred Heart Women's Hospital (Pensacola)
SW Florida Regional Med. Center (Ft. Myers)
Sun Coast Hospital (Largo)
Univ. Community Hospital of Carrolwood(Tampa)
Westchester General Hospital (Miami)

I hope this helps b/c it took forever to write out!

Thanks for the info, SqB and 2003, I'm glad you took the time to type it in.
