Numbers of LORs and timing of subi?

Hey all. 1) Is it okay to just have like 2 anesthesia letters and 1 from obgyn? Or do I need to have a total 4 letters? 2)How bad will it be if I have a subi in anesthesia ICU scheduled that runs thru September? Will this reduced the number of interviews I get? (step=255+).

What is an “anesthesia ICU”?
