I've done a lot of undergrad research through my 2 years in college so far. I wanted more patient contact so I applied for CNA classes this fall. Since I will be applying next summer, that will give me about 6-8 months of experience. Is that enough time to show that I have a good amount of experience?

It tends to go by hours. General rule is 50-100 hours is solid, but of course the more the merrier!
