Given that you are moving posts to the nursing forums that I and others believe should be viewable by medical students, residents and attendings;

And given that many of those who visit the forum do not "sign in" to review the full content of the forum;

And given that the information posted by myself and others is of critical importance given the current state of affairs of anesthesiology;

And given the need for all medical students and residents and attendings to know such information;

I ask that you make the "midlevel provider forum" viewable without requiring visitors to sign in as it currently is.

Or don't move it. That would work just as well.

who moved the thread and why?
this is clearly a thread that pertains to anesthesiologists.
as far as i remember the discussion was appropriate.

I moved the thread, and obviously this has made some folks unhappy:d. My apologies.

So far DNP's, PA anesthetists, CRNA practice, independent practice rights of nurses, RN's versus MD, the AANA, AA's, nurse-anesthesia.org, and insults by maceo🙄 have all populated the thread. Another SDN classic:prof:

To ProRealDoc: Having to sign in to see the midlevel discussion page was done to decrease the amount of trolling and likely isn't gone to change.

I did not hurl the first insult

Far as I'm concerned, any patient equating a DNP with an MD/DO deserves whatever care they get.

So who moved it? Maybe they can explain to us why they felt the need to do this.

Is one of the other powers that NP's are trying to get with their new DNP title!!! Now they also select where topics are going to land!!!

Hi! I'm a FMG (done with CS and USMLE 1 to 3) working as an ICU registered nurse here in the US. I participated in the Match this year but unfortunately I did not match🙁. Some of my relatives advised me to just become a CRNA because the pay is good. But I would like to become a MD here in the US. Would my being a CRNA increase my chances of getting accepted in an Anesthesia Program? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
