Hello, i am currently a sophmore at hunter college and i am in the pre clinical phase of the nursing program. I have just decided that i want to become a podiatrist. I want to be able to have a steady income while i am in med school. I was wondering if i could have nursing and pre med as a major at the same time. Will i be able to take the MCATS. I want to be able to work part time as a nurse in NYC, while attending the New York School Of Podiatry. I donot want to be broke during med school and i feel that my nursing background would be essential and useful. Please post your opinions. Is this a good idea or bad? Are there any schools that offer the pre-med/Nurse double major!!!! I have tried to ask counselors at my school but they are always to busy to get back to my question or they are always never available.
