Hello forum!

I took a train to 7th Avenue for dinner. I loved the location. That's where I wanted to be and when I saw the hospital, I thought to myself, it would be so nice if I was doing residency here, eating this pizza and living in this location.


My question: any IM residents from NYPMH who can shed some light on its program? Thank you.

There are some posts somewhere in this forum discussing Brooklyn Methodist if you search around for it.

Broadly it's a community hospital with a super brutal intern year schedule, though it does have in house fellowships. If you're a USMD or decently high scoring DO you can probably do better, though the location is very nice.

If one wants to get into an Endo or Heme-Onc fellowship and wants to have some clinical research done...?
