Can anyone give me any insight into the Lenox Hill or St. Lukes Roosevelt programs? How's the quality and availability of the "affordable" housing they provide?
Thanks

Hi-
I can only comment on St. Luke's- housing is guaranteed to all incoming interns...as opposed to a lottery system. There are 2 sites, one directly across the street from St. Luke's, and one on 59th street...closer to the Roosevelt hospital. I haven't seen it, but the housing is supposedly very nice. Residents seem pretty happy, though not as much of a tight-knit group as I have seen elsewhere. New program director, completely changed everything around there...very nice guy. Lots of FMG's, pretty good cardio fellowship, nephro.

USFMG's, or FOB's? A few classmates went there, but you wouldn't know them from any other USMG's (including knowledge!).

I agree; I think lots of USFMG's are excellent residents. It can be telling of a program, however, if they are heavily FMG weighted. I do not know the exact stats on St. Luke's, though.
