I know most of you will get mad at me, but i couldnt stop myself from doing this. I have a 3.7 gpa(bcpm=3.72), and did research(won some scholarships), volunteer at the hospital etc. The only problem is that i got a 25 on the april mcat and i really wanted to go to a ny state med school(downstate, upstate, suny stony brook, etc). Does anyone think i should give it a shot or just try applying to a DO school. Thanks

I doubt you will be able to get in without retaking the MCAT

i think if you studied from now until august and took the august mcat u could get that mcat score up a few points.

don't let anyone tell ya u got no shot! ... but.. chances *are* kinda slim. your GPA's really good. if u got that MCAT to around a 30 i bet u'd get an interview at all those places
