Hi, does anyone know of a link/published resource that can give me more information on this topic?
I am interviewing at NYMC in a couple of weeks and a friend at BU warned me about NYMC not being tolerant of a student support group for gay, lesbian, and transgender students.
Is this really happening there? :(

I believe the school's response for banning the group was that the changing of their name now promoted the "homosexual agenda." I asked this question yesterday, but I did not get a response as to what is the "homosexual agenda."

Oh well

yes it was b/c of the name change; also i believe it is just they aren't supplying private institutional funds for the group, not that they are refusing to allow the group to meet.

to the OP: if this bothers you then perhaps you should decline the interview.

Thanks everyone, I read the long thread from before...
and will check out those links.
Wish I had the luxury of being able to turn down ANY interviews based on personal convictions... alas, only 4 interviews do not offer a "sure acceptance".
