NYMC Rejections

Hi,

Just curious as to whether anyone has received straight rejections or rejections after being waitlisted. I have been waitlisted for sometime now, and I am wondering if NYMC is just overly liberal with its waitlisting instead of rejecting people outright.

I really hope I don't have to wait until the end of July to get a rejection decision. I'd rather get rejected soon so I know I won't be wasting another couple hundred by submitting my AMCAS reapplication.

As I understand it, NYMC interviews a large number, but only places a portion of them of waitlist. There are indeed some rejections, I am not how many are rejected post interview, must it must be a good deal.
Keep your hopes up. Do they rank the waitlist?? I've heard that it also moves quickly, so there is still hope.

I was... (post interview w/o being placed on a waitlist)- gulp. Of course I had a open wound on my forehead and mild concussion from hitting my head against the soap tray in the shower that morning...
