Took me about 2-3 months.

2 months, You can also get a pretty ID card.

And the DEA prolly another month. Great.

Took NYS 3 weeks to process it. Not bad. On to the DEA - another $551. Sheesh.

...and another 6+ weeks. I mailed my DEA app the 1st week of December and got it back (approved) the 3rd week of January.

Mine was online as well. I suppose I should have said "sent." Moral of the story is "don't hold your breath."

DEA mailed 2/20. About six weeks total from NYS license to DEA number. Not bad.

Now I wonder how long the preprinted pads are going to take ...

About 2.5 months to get the license when I applied last May, busy time of year. Should take less if you apply like now.
