    Hi tra,

What do you mean by "heard from"...interview, or acceptance? I think that NYU has just started sending acceptances (they're rolling admissions); Cornell & Yale don't release their decisions until March.

If you fish back through the older threads, e.g., of lists of interviews, etc., you'll see how many people on this forum have been in contact with these schools.

I hope this helps. Have a nice evening!

  4. Sorry If i was unclear. I meant heard about interviews. Ive applied to all three and havent gotten interview calls as yet. Is it too early?
Do you guys have info on admission to Cornell or Yale?

    tra,

When did you submit your application? Check the "Schools requesting interviews" thread, that should give you some more information. I know that all three schools have been interviwing, but when you submitted plays a big role in when you hear from them.

    Hi-
I thought i'd answer this thread since i've heard from all three. Remember though that I had all my secondaries completed early.

    Cornell:
    Secondary Complete: 9/21/01
    Interview Request : 9/26/01
    Interviewed : 10/3/01

    Yale:
    Secondary Complete: 9/17/01
    Interview Request : 9/29/01
    Interviewed : 10/18/01

    NYU
    Secondary Complete: 10/16/01
    Interview Request : 11/18/01
    Interview sched. : 12/10/01

Hopefully this will help somehow--I know it sounds
like i've been doing really well, but to give
you a complete picture, i've already been rejected
at Pritzker (without an interview)--which should
tell you that this whole process is absurdly
    idiosyncratic. . .

Okay, I'll stop putzing around and just give you the juicy stuff. :)

    Cornell:
    App complete: Sept. 5th
    Interview invitation: Sept. 14th
    Interviewed on: Oct. 3rd

    Yale:
    App complete: Sept. 11th ( :( )
    Interview invitation: Sept. 27th
    Interviewed on: Oct. 17th

    NYU:
App complete: sometime in Oct., I'm sorry I
    don't remember precisely when
    Interview invitation: Oct. 26th
    Interviewed on: Nov. 3rd

I hope that this helps. Please don't fret...you'll hear eventually! I was disconcerted by the fact that I hadn't heard from Einstein, while many other people on this forum received word from them two months ago; I thought that the silence meant I had been booted from the candidacy pile. But just last week I received an invitation to interview. So don't read into things too much! :)

    Good luck!!!

See i've interviewed at like 11 schools, but havent heard from einstein at all!

That should illustrate how insanely random interviews can be. Don't worry!!
