does anyone know if NYU has a minimum Dat score in each section? I tried searching on the website and could not find anything.

I always thought minimum DAT score in a section was a myth.

Indiana's website suggests having no lower than a 17 in each section.

I received a letter saying this and my application would be on hold until I retake the DAT Oct 21st.
Sorry guys this response was for the post above mine. The letter was from Indiana not NYU. Didn't mean to scare anybody.

^^are u sure? cuz my friend got in with RC 15, but AA 20 last yr and he's azn, not a minority. i also remembered seeing plenty of <18 on RC according to predents last yr, although everything on the internet might not be true. but i don't believe nyu has any cutoff.

When I was contacted before taking my DAT Indiana told me about the 16s and 18 in reading comp. They wanted to know where my scores were. Since I received a 18 in Pat the letter didn't mention anything. Your point is very valid wondering why the sciences can be lower than the reading comp. If you search on-line a little you will see that the study done to correlate reading comp with the first board exams scores was done at Indiana. I also found one done at Harvard. I think this is why they use RC so much in their screening. I found it interesting.

Suck for me pulling a 16. 17 percentile:eek: The whole time I thought I was golden and just didn't want to pull a 15 in QR.
