Hi there!
I also posted this in PreMed > Nontrad. I'm beginning my premed journey and looking at postbac programs in NYC. I know that NYU's free tuition for their med school is relatively new (like in their 2nd year or so?), but I'd love to increase my chances of getting accepted there or to another as-yet-undiscovered-to-me program that offers a ton of financial assistance (and not in the way of loans). Does anyone in this network have any information about whether going to NYU's premed postbac program increases one's changes of matriculating to/getting linkage to their med school? And/or what other knowledge do folks here have about high scholarship likelihood at other (preferably NYC-based) med schools?
FYI: Undergrad GPA (in History with a couple of math/science classes sprinkled in) is 3.93; SAT score 1330.
Thanks!
