So I sent out my application in mid-august, and I never got a postcard saying my application is complete. I called them, and they were having problems with my MCAT, so I mailed them a copy of my MCAT scores. that was in early Sept. So i still never got a postcard, and I called today.

They said that my application was scheduled for its third review by the committee in early january. Does anybody know what this means as far as possibility for an interview, because it seems that if they liked me, i would have already gotten an interview.

So is this just what they do with everyone's application when they don't want to interview them? Keep sending it for committee review, to see if they warm up to me, until they start sending out rejection letters? Like I think this may be a possibility because I haven't heard of anyone getting rejected from NYU yet.

    Any comments woud be helpful.
