NYU vs. Tufts - Both OOS

Tufts University
Pros:

• Digital Dentistry
• Cosmetic dentistry - some students I know there are already doing rotations in cosmetic dentistry. Something I am definitely interested in.
• Diverse class - different exposure
• Networking
• Latest dental tech

Cons:

• large class size
• Boston rent
• Worried if I wanna specialize that I would be hard for me

NYU Dental
OOS
Pros:

• Reputable world wide
• Strong networking connections
• Research opportunities
• Great for specialization

Cons:

• large class size
• cost - NYU way more expensive than Tufts
• Clinical may be difficult due to large class size?

Overall I dont think there is that much of a large difference between NYU and Tufts. Both are very expensive. Leaning towards tufts for the digital dentistry and cosmetic dentistry as that is the future essentially? I can also see myself living in Boston more than NY. Thoughts?

I think you are already set on Tufts. You don't seem to have done enough research on NYU.

NYU has had NYU Aesthetic Dentistry for almost 2 decades. Clinics always involve digital dentistry and students are fully exposed to it.

With that said, as an NYU student, I hate NYU.
