I was one of them. Just for a triger :
My Stats are :
Part 1 : 85
ECE : 3.3
Toefl : 102
Experience : 1 year as dentist home country and 1 Year DA in US.

Please share your stats and experience in this thread if you were on waitlist in NYU in ( May - June 2008 ).

It happens!

Could be two reasons:

Either your thread or query is not much relevant to anyone’s situation who so ever has read it or it too much relevant.

I know somebody who was in the wait list in year 2007 (April – June) and got acceptance in end March 2008 for June 2008 classes, with the following scores:

Part 1 : 86 old pattern
ECE : 3.09
Toefl : 98

I know info is bit stale but hope this might help you to assess something.

In nyu if you are waitlisted last year , then i dont think you will get acceptance without interview.They even call the last year accepted candidates,for interview, if they dont join that year.

one of my friend got acceptence from waitlist in may.

I dont know exactly, but i have heard NYU gives consideration to reapplicants. so wait and keep fingures crossed.

That is 99 % correct, they call for an interview before issuing a magic acceptance letter, irrespective, of the last year's status.

Any of my friends who were on wait list previous year ( May 2008 ) got an interview call this year so far.
