Yes, there is exactly one week left until the MCAT. Today doesn't count because most people won't stay up studying all night like I'm going to. I don't understand how people can do non-MCAT things during the next week. The reason I don't talk to people elsewhere about the MCAT is because no one around here understands what real work is. Everyone is planning on going to see a movie or going to dinner next Friday night. I don't understand how people can be that way. That's just bunk!
Here's my schedule for next Friday night: I'm going to study until exactly 10 p.m. I will then shower for approximately 15 minutes, then go to bed. Since it will take me around 10 minutes to fall asleep from that point, I will wake up at exactly 6:25 a.m. the next morning, so that I will have exactly 8.0 hours of sleep. I will spend 10 minutes getting dressed and washing my face, then I will eat a light breakfast while looking over some notes for 15 minutes. Afterward, I will brush my teeth and then ensure that I have all of the necessary materials for the test site. I will leave my house at exactly 7:00 a.m. I live 10 minutes away from my test site (by car). If my car doesn't start, I will run there. I practiced that before, just in case, and it took me 45 minutes. Worst-case scenario: My car is broken, and I arrive there at 7:45. It's always smart to have a back-up plan.
