Ob/Gyn residencies

Hey guys, I'm starting to look into where I want to spend the next 4 years of my life. Any suggestions about programs, cities, etc.? Any places to avoid or really try to go to? I've been told there are tons of programs in NY. Is that true? What about other big cities? Is there anything I could be doing now to help myself in the applicaiton process, such as certain electives?

A big city offers you the pathology. Also look at call schedules q3 or q4 can be tiresome after 4 years.

what do you guys know about ob/gyn programs in dallas? They include Texas-SW, Baylor of Dallas, Methodist Hosp., and Texas-SW/St. Paul Medical Center (community program that is university affiliated)
