OB-GYN training,

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'd try poking around the ACOG website. Or searching within the OB/gyn forum.

Applying for OBGYN this year - the 4 year residency is a mix of rotations focused on different areas in OBGYN. It seems that most programs (I interviewed at 15) have several months of OB (labor and delivery and high risk/MFM) and several months of benign GYN service each year in addition to some months of GYN ONC, REI, and urogyn. Intern year also includes some primary care rotations (medicine, ICU, and/or ER) and most include an month for ultrasound training. There is some variation among programs about "extras" such as family planning, research, and elective time. Responsibility on each service increases with each PGY level.

18 months each of gyn and ob which include the related subspecialties, plus ambulatory women's health care rotations, research or elective time, etc... I imagine this is incredibly googlable.
