I just opened it with Safari on my iBook. Slow though.

It just worked for me with Firefox. They do have a java applet on the front page that is freaking out so you might want to try installing the latest version of java to see if that helps. Also, give it a minute or so before deciding it has locked up since it seems that the browser becomes somewhat non-responsive while the page is loading but is fine after that.
