has anyone applied to FIU, Gannon, University of Florida, Barry University, East Tennessee University, Jacksonville University, Adventhealth University or St Augustine? Haven't heard back from them, and I applied 2 weeks ago.

I applied to Gannon, UF, Barry, Advent, and USA. I heard back from Barry, USA and Gannon. Still anxiously waiting for UF and Advent lol

sorry for all the questions, I just can't find this information anywhere. How did you hear back? Was it a packet or email? I got accepted into 1 school so far and they sent me a packet, an email, and called me.

Observation Hours: 47 hours in outpatient hand therapy. 12 hours virtual (It was hard for me to get hours due to Covid)

Co-Founded a Pre Occupational Therapy Club at my school, Volunteered at an OT based Karate program, worked as a Job Coach and activities coach at an adult day center (taught adults with disabilities skills needed to live independently and came to work with them as an accommodation), worked as a private karate instructor for kids with special needs. Volunteered with a team of OTs to create a food library website for feeding therapy.

Observation/ volunteer hours:
300+ hours at an outpatient pediatric clinic, roughly 100 hours with a feeding therapist online

Applied to: West Coast OTD, BU, CSUDH, USC, UIC

Interviews: West Coast (10/7), BU (11/6)
Acceptances: West Coast (10/11), CSUDH (11/15), BU (12/15)
Rejections: USC (12/13)
Did you apply to the spring, summer, or fall start term for West Coast OTD? I applied for the fall start date and haven't heard anything yet so I'm just curious! Congrats on your acceptance! :)

I’m currently waitlisted for Utmb. They are my top choice. If I get off the waitlist, then I’m definitely gonna go there. I commute to PV from spring.

Thank you! I applied for the fall start date (LA campus) in September and I heard back two weeks later about an interview. I think my friends also heard back within a two week time period as well.

Hey! The interview process consisted of an interview with a current student, one with a faculty member, and a short written question at the end. They paired everyone up with a current student to take them to each portion of the interview process and each section was up to 30 minutes. They said they'll get back to us on admission decisions early on in the new year. Overall I thought it was a good experience and they were very welcoming!

When did you apply to Barry and USA? I have an interview at Gannon in a few weeks, but nothing yet from the other schools
 
Oh okay. I sent mine in the week of thanksgiving break. Fingers crossed i hear back from them soon!
I wish you good luck! I got accepted into Barry and Gannon but I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools as well.... stressful deciding what place is best for me
