Hello I go to school in NY and I am 15 classes away from finishing my bachelors in health science/Occupational therapist. So far my overall GPA is a 3.8 and I am hoping by next spring/summer I will be able to apply on early decision to some schools in NY such as (Mercy college, NYU, Suny Downstate, Stony Brook). I wanted to know when it comes to volunteer and work related experience where in NY will It be less of a hassle to get observation hours I was thinking nursing homes, NYU hospital and out patient clinics. As for work related at the moment I am a HHA but was recently offered a job to be a paraprofessional to work with special need children in the public schools. If any one has any advice it would be appreciated.
