They can have chiral centers. However, make sure they have the same rotation (R & R or S & S) if given different newman projections. Conformational isomers are just the different rotations around a single bond that are constantly changing. More stable conformations (staggered with the biggest groups far away) are more dominant than the less stable conformations (eclipsed).
